Factions, Tokens, Battlefields

Big Update!
- New factions: The Crimson Shroud, Outer Claim, Eidolon Revenants
- Print-at-home tokens
- Three new print-at-home battlefields
- Rules updates and fixes
Battlefields
We added three new battlefields, printable at home so you can have the official layout for your missions.
- The Ruined City
- The Facility
- No Man’s Land
These are scaled to print 9 tiles at 20cm x 20cm each, fitting the grid of the game. Print them at 100% (don’t scale them or “print to fit”). Recommend pasting them to foamboard or thick cardboard for durability.
Tokens
We have official print-at-home tokens! These cover NPCs (for the Bug Bounty mission), barrels, crates, and objectives. Same as the battlefields, gluing these to foamboard or cardboard will make them much more practical.
Faction: The Crimson Shroud
The Crimson Shroud is a revelation, spreading across the stars like a psychic contagion. It began with the discovery of chthonic relics on forgotten worlds: impossible artifacts inscribed with whispering patterns. Those who studied them began to change. They saw through the illusions of individual will, through the boundaries of species and flesh.
They heard the Song beneath the Stars.
Now, the Shroud spreads silently as a cross-species cult of indoctrinated zealots, altered psionics, and sleeper agents. On some worlds, they wear robes and preach transcendence. On others, they move in secret, reshaping governments, implanting suggestions, turning enemies into allies without a shot fired.
To outsiders, they appear fractured and decentralized. But beneath that lies unity. A single doctrine. A single rhythm. A single crimson thread binding all who surrender.
Faction: The Outer Claim
The Outer Claim is not a single empire or culture. It is a resurgence of lost bloodlines, forgotten worlds, and shattered civilizations drifting inward from the galactic fringe. These clades were abandoned centuries ago, cut off from the Hegemony in the centuries since their inception. Some degenerated into tribal warbands. Others adapted. Others… changed.
Now, they return.
The Hegemony calls them raiders. Pirates. Terror cells. But to the Claimants, they are the rightful inheritors of the galaxy. They remember the betrayal. They remember being left behind. And they’ve spent generations adapting biologically, technologically, and spiritually to survive the void.
Their warbands are a mix of species, tech levels, and ideologies. Some come to conquer. Others come to warn. But none come in peace.
Faction: Eidolon Revenants
The Eidolon empire once spanned half the known galaxy, a dynasty of god-kings, logic-oracles, and celestial warforms who ruled through ritual, decree, and incomprehensible science. But time is a slow poison. Complacency took root. Traditions ossified. Innovation became heresy. Entire star-clades turned inward, forgetting conquest for introspection, empire for ceremony.
Yet even in decay, the Revenants remain vast. Their fleets drift in the void. Their rites still hold power. Their dominion may have rotted at the edges, but their core endures, mysterious, immortal, and quietly enraged.
Now, as the galaxy fractures once more, the Eidolon Revenants begin to stir. Not as one, but as many. Splintered claimants rise: would-be emperors, seer-priests, and rogue war-matriarchs each declaring themselves heir to the Throne Astral.
They do not agree on the future, but they agree on this: the galaxy was theirs, and will be again.
